Tullibardine 1992 (Bottled 2008) Whisky

Region: Highland

Nose:  Quite light and soft. There are notes of barley sugar and a soft wood smoke, hints of toasted cereals and cut hay with winter berries and their requisite acidity. There are some hoppy notes with a gristy character and something vaguely vegetal with a caramel sweetness.

Palate: A little fuller and richer.

Notes: Freshly made fruit salad with esters and a very juicy character. Notes of pineapple, guava, mango and Bartlett pear, hints of apple blossom and winter spice with a fresh hay note and a touch of dried peel.

Finish: Long and quite fresh with a touch of oaken warmth.
